Q) Where are you located and what are your hours of operation?
A) We are located at 1597 E 16th St. and our hours of operation are 06:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Click Here for map to our location.
Q) I need wiper blades and/or fluids for my vehicle. How can I get them from you?
A) Come to the Garage. We'll do an over-the-counter sale, bill your FRS account and assist you if needed.
Q) How can I schedule my vehicle for service?
A) We can schedule the service right away or at a date/time more convenient for you.
Q) Can you help with the flat tire on my golf car?
A) Give us the location of the golf car. If possible, the tire will be repaired on site. If it cannot be taken care of on site, we'll trailer it back to the Garage for repair.
Q) Our department is purchasing a new vehicle, what do we do and how long will it take?
A) Have your new vehicle delivered to the Garage along with the title and odometer statement. We will license, title and put official markings on the vehicle for you.
The whole process shouldn't take more than 2 weeks unless there is a problem with the paperwork. If there is a paperwork problem you will be kept informed.
Q) My vehicle has a dead battery, can you help?
A) We will send a mechanic out on a service call to jump start the vehicle so that it can be driven to the Garage. If it won't start, a decision will be made regarding towing the vehicle to the Garage.
Q) My gas card is broken, lost, has quit working or needs a different FRS account number in the magnetic strip. How can I get the card fixed?
A) Bring a departmental memo (and the old card, if it isn't lost) explaining the circumstances, FRS account number to which gasoline should be charged and vehicle number, to the Motor Pool office between
the hours of 06:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. The card will be recoded or replaced whichever is appropriate.
